Gerard “Jerry” Mailly of Saint Cloud, Florida, has been involved with Special Olympics for one year as a Unified partner, but has supported his son competing in Special Olympics for nearly four years. Jerry will represent Special Olympics USA competing with his son Brandon as a Unified partner in tennis. Parents to seven children, Jerry and his wife are proud of all that their children have accomplished.
He is employed by a plant nursery as a truck driver. At work, Jerry has been adamantly practicing his Spanish language skills with his Spanish-speaking coworkers. Keeping his mind challenged, Jerry enjoys completing sudoku puzzles.
Jerry is grateful for all that Special Olympics does to support the population it serves and for the people that the organization has brought into his life.
