Lauren Saulter of Dover, Pennsylvania, has been involved with Special Olympics for 10 years, five of which she spent working with Special Olympics North Carolina. She has been on staff with Special Olympics Pennsylvania for the past five years and is currently in the role of Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® director. Wanting to provide the opportunity for people of all abilities to be physically active, Lauren is passionate about providing quality events to Special Olympics athletes. She has attended three Special Olympics USA Games and will represent Special Olympics USA as a sport manager.
One of Lauren’s greatest accomplishments is being promoted the captain of her college’s softball team, where she started as a walk-on. She has two children and a wife, who all enjoy kayaking, hiking and exploring the outdoors together. A Special Olympics superfan, Lauren also cheers for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
