William “Bo” Parker of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, has supported Special Olympics Michigan since 2013, where he joined as a full-time staff member in 2019. As the director of communications and media for Special Olympics Michigan, his involvement has changed his perception of what true inclusion is, ensuring that all voices are amplified in the conversation. He will represent Special Olympics USA as additional support staff in marketing and communications. For Bo, that means capturing athletes participating and competing at their highest level in videos and photos, which will capture the many epic moments of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023.
In addition to photography and videography, Bo is focused on being a great partner and father. An avid runner, he strives to make healthier choices, inspired by the lifestyles of Special Olympics athletes. He looks forward to capturing their successes and sharing them with supporters back home.
