Grace Anne Braxton of Fredericksburg, Virginia, has been involved with Special Olympics for 30 years, competing and training in Alpine skiing, athletics, basketball, floor hockey, golf, speed skating, swimming and volleyball. She will represent Special Olympics USA in golf. Competing in swimming and golf, Grace Anne has attended five Special Olympics USA Games and five Special Olympics World Games. A two-time U.S. Disabled Golf Association women’s champion, Grace Anne was inducted into the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame in 2022.
Grace Anne is employed at Panera on the Washington University of Virginia Campus. She likes traveling to new places, cheering on her team in Major League Baseball and spending time with her nephews and niece. On the course, she greatly admires golfers Annika Charlotta Sörenstam and Morgan Pressel, hoping to represent her state and country with the same passion for the sport.
