Tea Campbell is a senior in high school, and plays volleyball for her Special Olympics team at Ridge Community High School. Her team was chosen to represent Special Olympics USA in Special Olympics Unified volleyball. Tea initially joined her school’s Special Olympics team in 2016 and fell in love with it. She loves being in an environment where she can completly be herself and not have to worry about feeling nervous about her abilities. She appreciates the fact that everyone is included and comes out to have fun. Over time, Tea has gotten better as a player and as a teammate. She cannot wait to see how much her team progresses from their first practice to March when they will compete in Abu Dhabi. When she is not playing for her Speical Olympics volleyball team, Tea enjoys playing guitar and writing songs. She is also in a local band!
