Casey Wigand joined Special Olympics through her husband more than five years ago. She is originally from Tallahassee but moved to central Florida for school. Since joining Special Olympics, she has participated as a coach for volleyball and flag football, been a Unified partner for softball, basketball, and flag football, and enjoyed every minute of being a volunteer. She has met dozens of wonderful athletes, coaches, Unified partners, and volunteers during her time with Special Olympics across both Florida and Massachusetts programs and cannot wait to meet even more new people at World Games!
