Ryan Smith is from Bradenton, Florida. He is representing Special Olympics USA in tennis after competing for six years with Special Olympics. Special Olympics has provided him more confidence in himself and he has learned that he can be successful in life if he tries hard enough. He even met his fiance, Brittany Tagliareni, a fellow member of the American delegation, while participating in Special Olympics!
