Always a fan of Andre Agassi, Mark Hanson began participating in Special Olympics in 2013 playing tennis. His favorite part of playing a sport is simply being included. He's preparing for his first World Games experience in Abu Dhabi by swimming laps with a friend from church and lifting weights to have himself in the fittest shape for the tennis court. During tennis season, he plays two to three times a week. When he's not training with friends or at Special Olympics, you'll find him at Albertson's where he works as a Courtesy Clerk. Mark is also an Eagle Scout and achieved several personal bests in local Special Olympics swimming competitions this past summer.
