Kevin Enright has been involved with Special Olympics since 1995 when he started the Special Olympics Georgia Augusta Stars program. He serves as their Local Coordinator/Head Coach and, on occasion, as a Unified partner. In addition, he teaches other Special Olympics Georgia coaches how to coach sports, including bowling, bocce, swimming, and cycling. In 2003 he was selected as Special Olympics USA bocce coach for Special Olympics World Games in Ireland. Also in 2003, he won the Special Olympics Georgia Outstanding Local Coordinator award. Kevin is married and lives in Augusta, Georgia with a son, Judson, who is an athlete for the Augusta Stars. Kevin has been a recreational therapist for over 20 years. He believes passionately in Special Olympics and enjoys passing his experiences on to others. He and his wife are dedicated to taking care of people with special healthcare needs.
