Jerritt Covington first joined Special Olympics Indiana when he was 13 years old. His experience with Special Olympics ignited his love for swimming. When he is not in the pool, Jerritt likes to play video games with his friends. Special Olympics has helped him show the world that there is more to him than meets the eye. Jerritt is proud to have earned two varsity letters in swimming and Unified track. He says it was a great honor to represent Team Indiana at the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle, Washington.
