Sam Stickney's favorite Special Olympics memory is a soccer match in which he scored a total of eight goals. Every part of the Special Olympics World Games experience has been great for Sam, from try-outs to being selected for the delegation representing the United States. Sam trains hard each and every week, whether it’s working on ball handling, playing one-on-one with his brother, or playing in his local adult league. For Sam, it is an honor to represent his country, and he is looking forward to “playing even more soccer and meeting wonderful people" on an even bigger stage.
