For Evan Kaptinski, the bigger the competition, the better. Evan competes year round with Special Olympics. He bowls in the fall, shreds powder in the winter in downhill skiing, and runs track in the spring. In addition, Evan plays with a local club soccer team in Bellingham, Washington. Evan is thrilled to take part in Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, and is especially looking forward to the Opening Ceremony where he is excited to walk into the stadium with crowds of cheering fans. Evan is no stranger to the spotlight, having participated in the MLS Special Olympics Unified Sports Exchange match, as well as taken part in the Seattle Sounders FC Halftime Crossbar Challenge. Evan looks forward to once again taking to the pitch, this time on the world’s stage.
