Gina Grant is a natural in the water. With role models like Michael Phelps, Gina has dedicated herself to the sport of swimming with determination. She trains most days at 5:00am with a Masters swim team and hopes to one day swim a 10k open water race. She has won 13 gold medals at a Masters meet hosted by Olympic Gold medalist swimmer, Rowdy Gaines, and that's not including the medals she's secured in Special Olympics. Gina feels free in the water and has become more confident as an individual. She has also accomplished her goal of competing against non-disabled swimmers. She looks forward to meeting new people in Abu Dhabi and representing the United States at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019!
