Kathy's longtime volunteer stint with Special Olympics began as a track coach when she was completing a practicum requirement in college. She hasn't looked back since! With several Special Olympics World Games experiences under her belt, she is looking forward to experiencing Arabic culture for the first time and watching athletes grow and transform before her eyes. Her role on the Management Team is to oversee the delegation's Host Town experience upon arrival in the UAE.
