Bill Fields’ tenure within the Special Olympics movement has taken him coast to coast and around the world! Bill's first experience was as a volunteer with Special Olympics New Jersey in the late 1970's followed by his first staff position with Special Olympics Southern California in 1986 and ensuing Special Olympics World Games roles from 1995 through present day. Known for his easy going nature and always calm demeanor, Bill's reputation as a logistics master and "fixer" is well-earned. As a Management Team Director for the US Delegation at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, he will once again flex his logistics muscles and collaborate with the US Department of Defense and the World Games' Local Organizing Committee to ensure smooth transit of team members, equipment and support staff during all phases of the World Games experience.
