Susan Buter joined Special Olympics in 2009 when she picked up the game of golf. When she is not golfing with her team, she enjoys long walks, bowling and playing with her cat Bailey. Special Olympics has given Susan a chance to be more active, make new friends and travel. When Susan isn't hitting the links, she can be found working at Holiday Inn, where she's been employed for more than nine years. Fun fact about Susan: She's a HUGE Elvis fan! She is really looking forward to representing her country at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, especially because she will experience it with her sister-in-law, Kimberlee, who is her Unified partner!
