Mitchell Hinrichs is competing as a Special Olympics Unified partner in golf. Mitchell will be making his first trip to World Games and is most excited about the opportunity to play with his longtime friend Aaron Gudenkauf. Mitchell has been involved in Special Olympics for about eight years where he has coached athletics, swimming, softball, volleyball and basketball. He has also participated as a Unified partner in volleyball and golf. Mitchell is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan as well as a Kansas State Wildcats fan. Mitchell works for a company that provides both day and residential services in Topeka, Kansas. Mitchell balances time between work and Special Olympics by spending time with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Scarlett. They are expecting another addition to the family who should be born in late December.
