Katie Crawford enjoys skiing, cycling, swimming, running, tennis, skating and ice dancing. Special Olympics changed Katie's life by enabling her to be more outgoing, and given her a chance to meet people from all over the world. In 2007, she had the privilege to carry the Law Enforcement Torch Run Relay torch in China. She is also proud to be a part of the North Central High School Hall of Fame. She also had the honor of carrying the Bicentennial Indiana Torch in Indiana in 2016. Katie has participated in Special Olympics World Games in 1985, 1987, 1989, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2013. She currently works at Kroger.
