Cindy Landry has been a coach for over 30 years. She has attended the Special Olympics World Games in 2015, 2011, 2009, 2007, 2003, 1999, and 1995. She also attended the Special Olympics USA Games in 2018, 2014, 2010, and 2006. Landry said “Attending the Games means sharing the skills and gifts of our athletes with others; allowing our athletes to experience the joy, excitement, confidence and rewards of their hard work of practice and dedication to their sports.” Landry credits Special Olympics for making her more humble and patient. She even met President George W. Bush during a reception in the Rose Garden at the White House with Chinese Ambassadors for the passing of the Torch for the 2007 World Games in China.
