Adam Johnson has been involved as a volunteer and coach for over 20 years. He has coached or participated as a Special Olympics Unified Sports partner in the following sports: basketball, volleyball, softball, flag flagball and athletics. He was the Head Coach for the Special Olympics Rhode Island track team at the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games held in Princeton, New Jersey. Adam has met some of the best athletes and people while participating in Special Olympics Unified Sports. Sports provide a universal language that truly unites us all. Adam recognizes the value in belonging to a team or community and the impact of inclusion and acceptance of all individuals.
