Dee Muth is the mother of a Special Olympics athlete, and her late husband had a true passion for coaching in the Special Olympics world. It was his dream to take this women's basketball team to Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, but he passed away unexpectedly a little over a year ago. Dee Muth has stepped into Barry Muth's shoes and taken on the role of assistant coach with his team. She has learned a lot over the years through her roles as chaperone and team mom, and understands what it will take to make this basketball team successful. She is looking forward to carrying out her late husband's dream and is committed to making this experience the best for her athletes.
