Susan Kuborn has been competing with Special Olympics Illinois for 16 years. During those 16 years, she has competed in athletics and basketball. Participating in Special Olympics has taught Susan about sportsmanship, given her confidence, and allowed her to be a better team player. This past July, Susan competed on a national level with Special Olympics Illinois. Susan competed in athletics during the 2018 USA Games in Seattle, Washington, where she took home three silver medals! Being involved in Special Olympics has allowed Susan to become the best possible person and athlete she can be. She is looking forward to winning the gold with her team at the 2018 USA Games!
