Meg Corn has been a part of Special Olympics since 1969 when she first volunteered. Meg was in high school the first time she worked with Special Olympics and has been hooked ever since. This was also when she realized she wanted to become a Special Education teacher. That following summer after she first volunteered, Meg taught all ages and disabilities how to swim. She then became a coach in college and has been doing it ever since. Meg was an Area Director for 18 years and also the state Aquatics Director in Oklahoma. Meg has had the honor to be chosen to represent Oklahoma for five Special Olympics World Games and three Special Olympics USA Games. She has also won Volunteer of the Year for Oklahoma.
