James “The Speeding Bullet” Dawson joined LC Storm in 2012. He started playing floor hockey in the winter of 2012 and made a lot of new friends that year. He loved Special Olympics Idaho so much that he joined the track, basketball, bowling, and floor hockey teams. He says that he’s excited to support his team at Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019. He mentions that he likes his coaches because they inspire him to be a better person. James was an Eagle Scout and graduated from high school. He also likes to run, exercise, play video games, and watch movies. James also went to the 2014 USA Games in New Jersey and 2018 USA Games in Seattle, and is excited to represent his hometown and country on the world stage in Abu Dhabi!
