Anthony "AJ" Spaeth joined Special Olympics North Carolina in 2014. He loves competing in soccer, swimming and basketball, but his primary focus is on athletics. AJ received a Good Citizen award at his high school and is a Cadet 2 in the JROTC. In his free time, AJ enjoys listening to music, dancing and watching the Carolina Panthers play football. In 2018, AJ competed in track and field at Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle, winning a gold medal, silver medal, bronze medal, and 7th place ribbon!
