Ellen Head has been lucky to be a part of the Special Olympics movement since 2010. Her career in sports, however, started over a decade prior when she worked as a manager for various sports programs while an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame. This experience gave her the bug to make this field her career. She spent the next 10 years working in collegiate athletics marketing until she answered the siren call of Special Olympics where she found her true home. She is currently employed as the Senior Director of Development for Special Olympics Virginia and is very excited to be a part of the management team and travel to the Middle East for the first time for Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019!
