Scott McCullough of Nashua, New Hampshire, was introduced to Special Olympics at 8 years old. 40 years later, Scott is still an active athlete, having trained in athletics, bowling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and softball. Now representing Special Olympics USA in the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025, he will compete in snowshoeing. From 2011-2014, Scott served on the Special Olympics New Hampshire Board of Directors, and he continues to advocate for his fellow athletes.

For 12 years, McCullough has hosted his own video series, “Special Talk with Scott McCullough.” Recorded and produced with BRB TV LLC, Nashua Public Television Channel 96, he hosts Special Olympics New Hampshire coaches and athletes to educate the community about inclusivity. Scott is also an ambassador for Best Buddies and attended the Best Buddies Leadership Conference in 2023. Traveling to Italy, he excited to show the world what he can do.
