Jeff Greene of Peck, Idaho, has been involved in Special Olympics since he was 8 years old, competing in athletics, bowling, basketball, snowshoeing and Unified golf. He will represent Special Olympics USA at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025 in snowshoeing.
In addition to competing, Jeff holds several athlete leadership roles within the Special Olympics movement in Idaho. He also served as a coach in golf at the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Orlando, Florida, and attended the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games in New Jersey, competing with his father in Unified golf.
Though he has many great accomplishments to date, some of his favorites are proudly representing his high school as the school mascot for two years and attending Special Olympics Capitol Hill Day in 2018 to speak to members of Congress about the movement. For 23 years, he has worked at Barneys Harvest Foods in Orofino, Idaho. Jeff is beyond excited to represent his country at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025.
