Brandon Wilt of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, has participated in Special Olympics since he was 9 years old and has grown to enjoy many sports, with athletics and snowshoeing as his favorites. He will represent Special Olympics USA in snowshoeing at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025.

Special Olympics has introduced Brandon to multiple new sports and allowed him to make friends, increase his confidence, further his independence and try new things. The support and activities of Special Olympics, along with his family and close friends, helped to get Brandon through loss and difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brandon holds a job as a cook and enjoys listening to music, volunteering and spending time outdoors. Drawing from his previous experience of competing at the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015 in athletics, Brandon is training hard at the gym and at home to prepare for Italy.
