Benjamin Miggins, from Flagstaff, Arizona, has been an active participant in Special Olympics for 7 years, competing in a multitude of sports ranging from swimming to snowshoeing, and overcoming obstacles like a fear of heights in downhill skiing along the way. Special Olympics has not only introduced him to new friends but also provided opportunities like representing Special Olympics USA at the World Winter Games.
Balancing his athletic pursuits with academic achievements and theater performances at Flagstaff High School, Benjamin enjoys gaming, collecting and volunteering at the Flagstaff Family Food Center. In his spare time, Benjamin finds joy in creating comic books and admires Tobey Maguire for his portrayal of Spiderman. Benjamin eagerly anticipates the experience of representing Arizona at the World Games in Italy, preparing diligently through training camps and cross-country participation.
