Ashley Stasulis of Lewiston, Maine, was introduced to Special Olympics in elementary school. Now an adult, her Special Olympics career includes training in athletics, basketball, bocce, bowling, soccer, snowshoeing and tennis. In the 2010 Special Olympics USA Games, she competed in bocce and returned to the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games to compete in bowling. Now, on an international stage, she will represent Special Olympics USA in snowshoeing.
In high school, Ashley was inducted into the National Honor Society. For nearly 10 years, she has worked as a clerical and finance assistant at John F. Murphy Homes. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and listening to music. Her training regimen includes line dancing, walking and going to the gym, as she prepares to represent her home state and country.
