Erin Faherty of Cold Spring, New York, started competing as a Unified partner four years ago. In that time, she has participated in floorball and floor hockey. Competing in the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025, she will represent Special Olympics USA as a Unified partner in floorball. For Erin, Special Olympics has afforded her the opportunity to meet amazing people, to learn about herself and to be part of an impactful organization.
Erin is employed with the United States Military Academy as the chief of their child and youth services division. In her position, she oversees the successful facilitation of youth programming, school support and parent education at West Point. She is honored to represent the United States in Italy alongside her teammates, who have enriched her story and perspective.
