Ryan Chin of Wappingers Falls, New York, has competed in Special Olympics figure skating for seven years. His first time attending a Special Olympics World Games, he will represent Special Olympics USA in figure skating. As an athlete, Ryan has made great progress in achieving higher skill levels and in advocating for individuals with disabilities. He is a talented swimmer and enjoys hiking segments of the Hudson River Valley Greenway System and the Appalachian Trail.
In the kitchen, Ryan attempts to duplicate his favorite menu items from Olive Garden. His specialties include breadsticks, stromboli and pizza. Anticipating his upcoming adventure in Italy, he looks forward to trying authentic Italian food from its source.
