Heidi Parker, from Hartselle, Alabama, has been coaching figure skating for Special Olympics since 2003, cherishing the profound connections made with athletes and families. As a coach and parent, she finds immense pride in witnessing her students' triumphs and successes. Beyond coaching, Heidi is a devoted stepmom, grandma and foster mom, who, along with her family, enjoys riding motorcycles and participating in community charity rides. Heidi finds inspiration in her athletes' kindness and resilience. Heidi eagerly anticipates representing her state and country at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025, ensuring her athletes are well-prepared while relishing the opportunity to witness their shining moments on the world stage. As a skating school manager and instructor, Heidi remains committed to her athletes' growth and development while embracing the honor of being a Special Olympics coach.
