Deeb Habchi, from Huntsville, Alabama, has been a Special Olympics athlete since 2008, finding his passion for figure skating in 2016 after exploring swimming, volleyball, basketball and athletics. Special Olympics has not only deepened his involvement in the special needs community but also fostered independence in the world. Deeb is proud of his heritage and many achievements like becoming an Eagle Scout, earning the Alabama Occupational Diploma and staying active in the Madison Mighty Explorer Club. One of Deeb's strengths comes from his family - admiring his hardworking parents and cherishing moments with his adorable nephew. Deeb is known for his fighting spirit, humor and friendship. With a love for singing, he eagerly anticipates representing the USA at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Italy, honing his skills on the ice.
