Judy Hut of Salt Lake City, Utah, has been involved with Special Olympics Utah for 10 years. For three years, she was employed as the volunteer manager and director of community outreach for Special Olympics Utah. Since, she has remained active as a volunteer. At the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, Judy attended as a Unified pair mentor for the inaugural Youth Leadership Experience. She also accompanied the Unified youth pair to the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019. As a coach, she will represent Special Olympics USA in DanceSport.
Judy is employed as the community engagement program manager for UServeUtah, the state’s commission on service and volunteerism. In her role, she oversees community engagement initiatives, which include volunteer management training, grant funding and youth volunteerism. For Judy, the opportunity to represent Special Olympics USA is incredibly meaningful and she looks forward to seeing athletes challenge perceptions and shine.
