Jennifer Lonn of Seattle, Washington, has been participating in Special Olympics for more than 40 years. She has competed in more than 10 sports and will represent Special Olympics USA in cross country skiing at the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025. Special Olympics has helped Jennifer improve her social skills and build confidence. She has made many new friends and overcome her difficulty with communicating. She feels proudest when earning medals and being recognized for her achievements.
Jennifer has been employed at Costco for more than 20 years and enjoys her job and her coworkers. She is a huge Disney fan and describes herself as fun, friendly and hard-working.
Jennifer says that competing with Special Olympics USA is a dream come true.
