Paige Ditzel of Fairport, New York, started competing in Special Olympics at the age of 8 years old. Working to broaden her athletic experiences, she has participated in Special Olympics Unified Sports® and has trained in bowling, basketball, flag football, snowshoeing and soccer. In the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025, she will represent Special Olympics USA in Alpine skiing. Her commitment to sport transcends participation, as she takes great pride in contributing to her community through her role on the Athlete Leadership Council for Special Olympics New York’s Genesee Region. As a voice for fellow athletes, she helps steer programs toward greater inclusivity and empowerment.

Furthering her education, Paige attends Transition Opportunities at the University of Rochester, an inclusive college experience for students with disabilities. She is employed as a hostess at the Underpass Bar & Grill. Looking ahead, Paige is excited to compete alongside exceptional skiers from across the globe.
