Anne Goudie of Hartland, Michigan, has devoted the past 35 years of her life to volunteering with Special Olympics, serving as a coach, a Special Olympics Michigan Board of Directors member and an area director for athlete programming. In the Special Olympics World Winter Games Turin 2025, she will attend as a coach in Alpine skiing. Through her involvement with Special Olympics, she has learned the importance of perseverance and hard work. An inductee to the Special Olympics Michigan Hall of Fame, Anne has coached in two Special Olympics USA Games, two Special Olympics World Games and is active in Special Olympics Unified Champion School® efforts.
Recently retired from the Lansing School District, Anne has experience as an adapted physical education teacher and athletic director. She prioritizes her physical health, training on dry land and on the slopes. As a coach, she readies to give athletes an opportunity to show the world their skills.
