Rebecca Robinson calls Concord, Massachusetts home but is just as at home on the slopes. This March, she will represent Special Olympics USA in alpine skiing at the World Winter Games. Robinson has been involved with Special Olympics for eight years. Robinson loves to be outside doing activities such as biking and hiking. “Because of Special Olympics I’m more outgoing and it’s helped me with getting out and exercising,” said Robinson. She works at Mt. Auburn Hospital where she has volunteered for ten years assisting patients with transport in hospital and assisting with transport of blood samples too. She really enjoys working there. “I will be able to meet new people from all over the world. My work colleagues and family are very proud of me and excited about the World Games,” Robinson said.
